Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

1. Purpose

We are an Australian IT Architecture as a Service (ITAaaS) provider ("we", "us", "our") is committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, child labour, or any form of exploitation within our operations or supply chains.

This policy sets out our commitment to preventing modern slavery in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and reflects our values of integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All directors, employees, contractors, and consultants

  • All suppliers, partners, and third parties engaged by us

  • All business activities undertaken by Busy to Brilliant – Business Management

3. What is Modern Slavery

Modern slavery includes, but is not limited to:

  • Human trafficking

  • Slavery and servitude

  • Forced or compulsory labour

  • Debt bondage

  • Child labour

  • Deceptive recruiting practices

4. Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Complying with all applicable Australian laws and regulations

  • Acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings

  • Taking reasonable steps to identify, assess, and address modern slavery risks

  • Working with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to human rights

5. Our Business and Supply Chain

We operate as Australian IT Architecture as a Service (ITAaaS) a digital advisory services provider. Our supply chain is primarily service-based and technology-focused and may include:

  • Cloud software, infrastructure, and SaaS technology providers

  • IT architecture, integration, development, and professional services contractors

  • Marketing, finance, administrative, and support services

We assess modern slavery risk as low, however we recognise that risks may still exist, particularly where services or technology are sourced from overseas jurisdictions.

6. Risk Management and Due Diligence

To mitigate modern slavery risks, we:

  • Prefer reputable suppliers with strong ethical standards

  • May request confirmation of compliance with modern slavery and labour laws

  • Reserve the right to review or terminate supplier relationships where concerns arise

  • Encourage transparency and ethical behaviour throughout our supply chain

7. Responsibilities

  • Management is responsible for implementing this policy and promoting ethical practices

  • Employees and contractors are expected to comply with this policy and report any concerns

  • Suppliers and partners are expected to uphold similar standards

8. Reporting Concerns

Any suspected or actual instances of modern slavery or unethical conduct should be reported promptly. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation by contacting your organisation’s nominated compliance or management contact.

We will investigate all reports appropriately and take corrective action where required.

9. Training and Awareness

We are committed to maintaining awareness of modern slavery risks and may provide information or guidance to staff and contractors as our business grows.

10. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains effective and aligned with legal and business requirements.

11. Approval

This policy is approved by the management of ITAaaS and takes effect from the date of publication on our website.
